The owner app
The owner app is the business in your pocket: what Sarah did overnight, today's jobs, who owes you money, where the crew are, and anything waiting on a human — with Sarah herself one tap away. The desk work (services and prices, knowledge, agents, automations, integrations) deliberately stays on the web dashboard; the app is for running the day, not configuring the business.
This page is the tour. The deep pages are Jobs & the live map, Money on the move and Ask Sarah & escalations. If someone on the crew opens the same app, they get a different product — see The crew app.
Getting in
Open the app, choose Business owner, and sign in with the same email and password as the web dashboard. You stay signed in — no daily login. If your business hasn't finished setup yet, the app takes you through the setup wizard first.
The tab bar
Along the bottom: Today, Jobs, the green Ask Sarah mic in the middle, Money, and Map. The Today tab carries a red badge with your open escalations count — if it's zero, nothing is waiting on you.
Two screens live off the bar, behind Today's "•••" menu: Activity (every call) and Settings.
Today — the morning glance
The header greets you by name with the business and the date. The first card answers the question you wake up with: what happened while you were off the clock?
- The overnight recap covers 6pm to 8am with real numbers — jobs booked, value in the diary, messages. When nothing happened it says so plainly: "All quiet overnight — nothing needed you." The full night-by-night review is on its way.
- Ask Sarah — hands-free — a card that starts a live call with Sarah, same as the mic button.
- Stat tiles — booked today (with a real "vs yesterday" delta), jobs on today with done and to-go counts, and calls answered (tap it for the Activity screen).
- Shortcuts — "£X owed · N to chase" jumps to Money; "N open escalations" jumps to the queue.
- NEEDS YOU — your open escalations, inline on the front screen.
- TODAY'S JOBS — the day in time order; tap a row for the full job, or Open board for the Jobs tab.
- ON THE ROAD — Live map takes you straight to the crew map.
Pull down to refresh — every number on the screen is live.
Jobs — move the day around
Three views of the same day — list, board, calendar — with real writes: drag a board card to move a job, drag on the calendar to reschedule, Assign to pick an engineer. There's deliberately no "new job" button — new work comes in through Sarah. The full walkthrough, including the job detail screen and the live crew map, is on Jobs & the live map.
Money — who owes you what
The outstanding total split Overdue / Open / Paid, every unpaid invoice underneath, and real actions: drag a draft to Open and the pay link goes out, raise a new invoice from a completed job, resend a pay link from the invoice screen. The full walkthrough is on Money on the move.
Map — who's on the road
Per-crew routes and live positions, refreshed every half minute, with the privacy rules printed on the screen because they're enforced on the server. It's covered together with Jobs on Jobs & the live map.
Escalations — what Sarah couldn't settle
The same queue as the web, in your pocket — each card carries the caller, what happened, and Sarah's proposed fix, with Acknowledge, Mark resolved and Call back as real actions. The full anatomy is on Ask Sarah & escalations.
Ask Sarah — the business by voice
The green mic starts a live call with the same Sarah that answers your business line. As the owner you get the full operator toolset — including the financial tools the crew never get by voice — protected by your voice PIN. Worked examples and the security model are on Ask Sarah & escalations.
Activity — every call, with the receipts
From Today's "•••" menu. Every call Sarah has handled, searchable by name, number or outcome. If a call is happening right now, an ON A CALL banner sits at the top — tap it to watch the live transcript.
Every call with the full transcript, Sarah's summary and the recording — plus a live banner when a call is in progress.
Tap any call for the full picture:
- The full transcript, turn by turn.
- Sarah's summary — what the call was about and how it ended, with the caller's sentiment and the duration.
- Call back — dials the caller from your phone.
- Listen to recording — plays the real call audio. Recordings are owner/admin-only; the crew never hear them.
The web version of this screen, with more filtering, is Conversations & activity.
Settings
Deliberately thin:
- Team & privacy — how location sharing works, for reference.
- Crew — a read-only roster with each member's role and skills, and a shortcut to the live map.
- Manage on the web — services and prices, knowledge, agents, automations and integrations are edited in the web dashboard.
- Sign out.
What stays on the web
By design, the app doesn't try to be the office. Edit these on the web dashboard:
- Services & pricing, quotes and packages
- Knowledge, agents and playbooks, phone numbers and the website widget
- Automations, integrations, analytics and billing
- Contacts, conversations, team invites and roles, locations
